The dinner will be a great opportunity to meet with our directors and colleagues from across the UK water sector and to hear from our keynote speaker. |

| Alex took up the role of Chief Executive in June 2023. He was previously Director of Strategy and Regulation at Anglian Water, where he worked from 2014. Prior to working in the water sector, Alex held roles at Cambridgeshire County Council, the Civil Aviation Authority and HM Treasury. He has also held several non-executive director roles including with NHS Cambridgeshire and Centre for Cities. Alex is a graduate of Nottingham University. |

Ofwat Appoints Interim Leaders - Ofwat has appointed Chris Walters as Interim Chief Executive from 30 August, following David Black’s decision to stand down. Helen Campbell also joins as Executive Director, Delivery, both taking on key roles to lead the organisation through a period of significant transition and regulatory reform. Read more here. |

Tessa was appointed Wastewater & Bioresources Director at Thames Water in July 2024, and brings over 20 years’ experience across consulting, utilities and logistics. She is recognised for leading large teams and delivering transformational change with a strong focus on customers and the environment. Join a diverse range of individuals in the water sector to be inspired, hear practical tips, network and build connections. All are welcome to attend as we continue to work together to dismantle obstacles and barriers to increase diversity across the water and wastewater sector. |
