Through the association's activities, member companies can access exclusive industry information, receive advance knowledge of developments and influence government policy on pertinent issues, particularly in the area of new regulation.

British Water provides a platform for members to meet, discuss and connect with others such as fellow members, customers, clients and government departments on potential business opportunities and particular issues of concern.

British Water offers reduced membership for Start-Ups (a business in the initial stages of operations) and Single-Person Enterprises at a flat rate of £600 plus VAT. This fee provides full access to British Water services. Membership is also open to government agencies and charities.

Applications for membership of the association are subject to approval by the Board of Directors.

Membership of the Grease Contractors Association (GCA) is open to (including but not exclusive to) contractors, suppliers, research and developers, educators, manufacturers, consultants and business-users of grease management products.

Certified Contractor Membership of the GCA is available to companies and organisations which specify, supply, install and maintain a range of grease management systems and agree to undergo a bi-annual audit to determine their suitability for this membership and to be registered as a “Certified Contractor”. Certified Contractors must subscribe to GCA Code of Practice. £1250 + VAT plus an audit fee every 2 years.

Supporter Membership of the GCA is available to all other companies, organisations and stakeholders in the Grease Management industry including but not exclusive to contractors, suppliers, research & developers, educators, manufacturers, consultants and business-users of grease management products. Supporter members are vetted by the GCA Members and there is no requirement for auditing. £1250 + VAT.
