SDS Introduces Planet Possible Spotlight Podcast
SDS has broadcast its first “Spotlight” podcast, researched, written, produced and hosted by the highly regarded and knowledgeable team responsible for the acclaimed “Planet Possible” series of podcasts.
Following the same guiding principle that drives Planet Possible to promote best practice environmental custodianship, “Spotlight” productions explore and shine a light on the latest schemes and projects that are proven to be planet-positive but are less well known or widely understood than they perhaps should be.
Such initiatives may challenge traditional thinking and accepted best practice, yet their capacity to bring demonstrable benefits to our natural world and all those whose lives it supports warrants exposure to the decision makers, stakeholders, policymakers and influencers that they might not always succeed in reaching.
In this inaugural SDS “Spotlight” podcast, host Niki Roach takes a tour of England to discover for herself how smart, Internet-of-Things technology has enabled householders, businesses and even a school to take control of our most precious natural resource – water - by helping to prevent both flooding and water scarcity.
Interviews with the people who interface directly with the technology, or experience first-hand the operational practicalities and financial deliverables of the SDS system, provide real world feedback for the benefit of others who are facing similar water management concerns.
