The Nomination Committee of the Board of British Water (BW) is now inviting applications from those that wish to become the next Chair of BW and therefore a BW Non-Executive Director. Applications are welcome from individuals who are BW members (and non-members) as well as those who work in sectors that are adjacent to or outside of the water and wastewater sector. Applications are particularly welcome from SME representatives and those from underrepresented groups. (The successful applicant will be expected to become a member of BW prior to their appointment, if not already).
The new Chair will be expected to step into the role at the 2025 AGM which will be held online on Thursday 24 July 2025 at 11.00. All NEDs serve two terms of three years, and the Chair one term of three years as outlined in the Articles of Association.
The deadline to submit your application for the position of Chair of BW is Friday 28 March 2025, 17:00.
