ROAR B2B announces a landmark moment in environmental services with the launch of the National Environmental Services Survey.
The survey, a key highlight of the FWM Expo, signifies an ambitious effort to understand and address the most pressing
environmental concerns at a national scale. The survey's findings will shape the dialogue at FWM and the wider ESS Expo, steering the development of practical, effective solutions.
The survey is open to all professionals whose work is
directly involved in, or connected to, the environment. This could be people that work in the environmental services sector or people in other industries with a focus on sustainability or the environment. You can take part in this national survey
here.
The survey launch is accompanied by the rebranding and refocusing
of the Flood Expo to the Flood and Water Management Expo (FWM). The newly transformed event will take centre stage at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre (NEC) on 13-14 September 2023, as part of the broader Environmental Services & Solutions
Expo (ESS) initiative.
FWM's new direction will address a wide range of environmental issues, with a primary emphasis on water scarcity, flood management, and the increasing need for sustainable water management strategies. The evolving
global challenge of water management will be at the forefront, presenting practical, innovative solutions to this critical issue.
The significance of FWM's refocus is amplified by the UK Government’s commitment to achieving a net-zero carbon
footprint by 2050. As we approach COP28, FWM and the broader ESS Expo will stimulate discussions, spark innovation, and provide a vital forum for exchanging ideas and solutions.
High-profile figures, including Blue Planet II's executive
producer, the Financial Times' Simon Mundy, and environmental activist Natalie Fee, are set to headline the event.
“The transformation of the Flood Expo into FWM marks a pivotal moment in our commitment to the environmental services sector.
Paired with the insights from the National Environmental Services Survey, we believe FWM can drive significant change in water management practices, playing a central role within the broader ESS initiative. We're excited about the opportunity for
FWM to foster collaborations and engagement that will truly make a difference.” Rob Mowat - Managing Director, Roar B2B
ROAR B2B extends a warm invitation to all those dedicated to driving a sustainable future to join us at the NEC for
the FWM event and the broader Environmental Services Expo.
