British Water At Northumbrian Water Innovation Festival

We are delighted to be supporting partners of Northumbrian Water's Innovation Festival 2025 and this year British Water has a stall.

A five-day global gathering focused on renewal, restoration, and growth with this year's theme being Regeneration.

The programme brings together innovators, engineers, academics, and creative minds to tackle major environmental and societal challenges through collaborative sprints, workshops, and solution-driven sessions.With expert-led discussions, interactive formats, and a vibrant atmosphere including wellness, music, and surprise guests, participants are encouraged to commit to workshops where they can contribute their expertise and drive meaningful outcomes.

The dynamic programme of workshops designed to tackle real-world challenges with energy, creativity, and collaboration. Each workshop is led by a dedicated NWG sprint lead, guiding participants through fast-paced sessions that demand hands-on involvement and focus.Whether you're a strategist, innovator, or tech expert, there’s a format to suit your skill set and availability.

Workshop Types:

• Sprints – A four-day structured process inspired by Google’s sprint model, using collaborative tools like whiteboards and post-its to rapidly prototype and solve challenges.
• Year’s Work in a Week (YWIW) – Condenses months of stalled project work into five high-output days, removing internal roadblocks to deliver immediate results with a team of action-driven participants.
• Hacks – Ideal for data experts, programmers, software developers, digital graphic designers and domain experts, this 2–3 day workshop focuses on solving tech-driven problems in an agile, high-intensity format.
• Daily Dashes – A daily ideation sprint perfect for busy professionals, encouraging creative thinking and teamwork to generate solutions in just a few hours.
