Addressing the Skills Gap - Registrations now closed

The water sector is under the spotlight in an unprecedented way. We are being scrutinised more than ever by the public, campaigners, regulators, the UK Government and devolved administrations on our performance. Alongside our physical assets and infrastructure – our people are the greatest asset we have to ensure we are a part of the solution and rebuild trust.

British Water supported by the Institute of Water and CIWEM, and in partnership with Cranfield University, is delighted to announce Addressing the Skills Gap 2023. This conference will look at Building the Talent Pool for Now and the Future in the first of a two-part series

In part one on the 22 June at Cranfield University, attendees will take part in discussions with a variety of experts from within the water industry and adjacent sectors to set the scene, explore how we can make the sector attractive to recruit and retain a diverse talent pool, and commit to firm action.

In part two, hosted by the Institute of Water and CIWEM and supported by British Water (date to be announced soon), we will explore how well we are progressing against our declared actions and look at what more needs to be done collaboratively across the sector to amplify impact.
