Data & Analytics Focus Group

The Data & Analytics Focus Group was established with a vision to be a forum by which best practice use of analytics across the water industry and its supply chain can be shared, discussed and evolved to provide better outcomes to customers and bring efficiencies to water companies.

The agreed goals of this group are:

• To share, discuss and evolve best practice analytics at a strategic, tactical and operational level of water companies and across the supply chain.
• To provide guidance on appropriate analytical tools and methodologies specific to the challenges of the water sector.
• To review and understand best practice analytics in other infrastructure sectors and its application to the water sector.
• To learn and understand how best practice analytics from other countries can be utilised here in the UK and how best practice in the UK can be sold out to the world.
• To allow companies and individuals with a common interest in analytics an opportunity to communicate and interact with each other.
