British Water formed in 2021 a Supply Chain Task Force to explore some of the key themes that are believed to be hampering effective project delivery, efficiency and collaboration in the UK water market. The aim will be to help build a more sustainable and resilient supply chain for the future.
To aid the work of this Task Force, we would kindly ask you to complete 3 short surveys. Your responses will enable us to better understand your most urgent concerns such as the continued impact of cyclicality on the supply chain, current commercial terms and conditions and
procurement processes and innovation.
INNOVATION
We work in a regulated sector. These questions explore your drivers to innovate, your awareness of available funding sources for innovation and the availability of test facilities for new innovations.
CYCLICALITY SURVEY Cyclicality
within the UK Water Sector is based on a 5-year period and a series of key milestones setout by OFWAT. These questions aim to understand the impact of the cyclicality in the supply chain.
PROCUREMENT AND TERMS & CONDITIONS SURVEY We work in a regulated sector. These questions aim to understand how procurement practices affect the productivity, well being and risk assumed of the supply chain .
