British water has helped my company to engage with industry, to better understand their needs, about how they can work within our rules of nutrient mitigation.

The thing I value most about the membership are the events and the opportunity to collaborate and meet with people that I might not necessarily meeting day-to-day basis. I find them really accessible, easy to engage with and offer lots of opportunity to mix with peers across the industry.

Presentations/debates were fab – first time for a very long while that they were candid, engaging and thought-provoking. Well done!

The Women in Water Conference has been excellent in my opinion. It helped me realize that it’s acceptable to show vulnerability, not to doubt my own voice, to be truly proud of my efforts, and to acknowledge my successes. Honestly, I think it’s fantastic to attend this conference and celebrate with other women who share my values.

As someone who has taken a significant career break and returned to the industry, it was great to hear such accomplished women discussing the challenges they face—challenges I’ve experienced myself. I gained valuable tips and the understanding that I’m not alone; there are things I can do to continue achieving my goals. I must commend British Water for organizing such a fantastic panel of ladies from whom we can learn and draw inspiration.
