Russia Water Market

British Water has been approached by Dr Steve Sugden from Harwell Consulting who works on behalf of the UK CNCP Programme. The programme is a scientist redirection project sponsoring the creation of new high-tech commercial enterprises in the former Soviet Union.  Details of the programme, the aims and activities are available on line at http://www.cncp.ru/eng/eng.shtml.

One of the activities of the programme is to organise seminars in specific technology areas.  Around 50 people from various companies and institutes are invited within their programme together with a select number of western speakers to participate to share experience and to also act as a possible catalyst for further cooperation between the projects and relevant UK organisations.

The next seminar is on Healthcare (products and services) and there will be a separate session on Water Purification, Water Treatment and Monitoring.  UK CNCP would like to invite someone from the UK to attend who could make a presentation on the UK and/or European market and experience of these technologies.  The programme will likely be able to cover the travel and accommodation cost of the speaker.

The detailed programme is currently being finalised but the event will be held in the city of Tbilisi in Georgia from October 12-14. If you are interested in this offer please contact Lila Thompson.
