British Water Priority Markets / Regions
A telephone survey is conducted with members, bi-annually, to help evaluate British Water's target markets and international services. The markets identified following the 2011 survey are below and a number of initiatives are now being planned to support member companies in these areas.

UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) Target Markets for the Environment & Water Sector
UK Trade & Investment is the government organisation that helps UK based companies succeed in the global economy. UKTI's 2011 strategy titled 'Britain Open for Business' has identified the water sector as one of 18 priority areas. Work will therefore be done to support small and medium sized companies and to pursue high value opportunties for the water industry. British Water is working closely with UKTI's Environment & Water Team and UKTI's priority markets for 2011/2012 are as follows:
