Physical Conditioners/Scale Reducers

Home > water treatment > Physical Conditioners/Scale Reducers

Physical water conditioners are installed to reduce, prevent or remove the formation of hard (lime) scale in domestic hot and cold water systems or for scale and corrosion inhibition in central heating sysems in areas which are supplied with hard water.

The assessment of some aspects of water quality can be very subjective and personal, and so any other changes in water quality should be regarded as extra benefits rather than  being part of the reason for installing a physical conditioner.

Consumers' Guide to Physical Conditioners

As the chemical composition of the water is not changed, a physical conditioner will have no effect on the treatment of such medical conditions as eczema.
