NEW SME International Group for Members and Non-Members of British Water

Following positive feedback from companies, British Water has launched a new SME International Group for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) looking to increase sales overseas or enter export markets for the first time. In recognising the challenges facing SMEs, in the global marketplace, British Water is developing new services and organising meetings to facilitate networking and to enable SMEs to learn about sources of funding, market research, project information and potential partners.

The convenor of the SME Group is Derek Bourne, Director of Export Sales and Marketing, Partech Instruments.

The group is open to British Water members and non-members and to become a member please complete and submit the following application form, capability template and legislation and country matrix to Lila Thompson.

The first meeting of 2012 was held on 10 February and kindly hosted by Cranfield University, School of Water Sciences.
Future meetings will be held on
4 May, 7 September and 7 December 2012.  If you would like to attend the meetings or would like further information on the group please contact Lila Thompson / Tel: 0207 957 4594.
