The systems and processes used for cost forecasting and reporting in the industry have so far been developed individually, and largely in isolation, and in the absence of any common “best-practice” code or protocol. The aim of this guide is to increase awareness of the cost forecasting and reporting needs at all parts of the supply chain, to identify and promote best practice and to encourage commonality in systems and methodologies, driving greater efficiency and improved performance for the benefit of all. |
