The International Forum is the area through which British Water delivers its support for international trade. The Forum includes the provision of International Forum networking meetings (to which representatives from government departments, aid agencies and other key organisations are invited); outward / inward visits; exhibitions; round-table discussions and conferences to provide members with current thinking on all aspects of doing business overseas.
The International Forum Main Meetings
The International Forum (IF) Main Meeting brings the supply chain together to network, exchange information and better understand global market opportunities. At the last meeting on 6th December, which was kindly hosted by Herbert Smith LLP, a speaker from DFID, CH2M Hill and UK Trade & Investment covered a range of topics and explored opportunities and challenges in a range of markets, including Africa. Country Workshops
A number of country workshops will be held in 2012 to identify specific water, wastewater and desalination opportunities in markets such as: Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Qatar, South Africa, India, Brazil. Mexico, Nigeria and Ghana. For the dates of these meetings click here.
