International Forum

Home > how we do it > International Forum

The International Forum is the area through which British Water delivers its support for international trade.  The Forum includes the provision of International Forum networking meetings (to which representatives from government departments, aid agencies and other key organisations are invited); outward / inward visits; exhibitions; round-table discussions and conferences to provide members with current thinking on all aspects of doing business overseas.

The International Forum Main Meetings
The International Forum (IF) Main Meeting brings the supply chain together to network, exchange information and better understand global market opportunities. At the last meeting on 6th December, which was kindly hosted by Herbert Smith LLP, a speaker from DFID, CH2M Hill and UK Trade & Investment covered a range of topics and explored opportunities and challenges in a range of markets, including Africa. For further information please contact lila.thompson@britishwater.co.uk. The dates for the 2012 meetings are below:

  • Tuesday 29th May 2012 - To be hosted by Mott MacDonald.
  • Tuesday 4th December 2012 - details available in due course.

International Forum meetings are for British Water members only

specific water, wastewater and desalination opportunities in markets such as: Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Qatar, South Africa, India, Brazil. Mexico, Nigeria and Ghana. For the dates of these meetings click here.
