Membership
Membership of British Water is open to all companies with an involvement in the water industry in its broadest sense. Through the association's activities, member companies access industry information not available elsewhere, receive advance knowledge of developments and have the opportunity to influence government policy on pertinent issues, particularly in the area of new regulation. British Water provides a forum for members to meet, discuss and influence others, for example fellow members, customers, clients, government departments, on issues of particular concern to them.
Applications for membership of the association are considered by the Board of Directors. The whole process, from submission of application to welcome letter, normally takes no longer than three weeks.
